Quad Destruction - Move over Tom Platz Here We Come

My quad routine for the next 6 weeks-

Foam Roller- 10 minutes

Leg Extension superset w/ Bulgarian Squats- 4x20

Hack Squat- 10x20, 20, 15, 15, 15, 12, 12, 12, 10, 8

Smith Machine Squat- 5x12

DB Lunges- 4x12

Leg Press- 5x20

DB Stiff Leg Deadlift- 5x25- No rest between sets

Lying Leg Curls- 4x25

Finisher- Light Weight Kettlebell Swing- As many as possible for a single set

Stretching- 5 Minutes

Nothing left in the tank!

Hell Yea  ! Looks like your trying to build those wheels more bro.   I'm just getting back at it with my legs . Fractured my foot in december and been kinda slowly going up in weight .  I absolutely love doing some leg extensions with about 160 on there that's my sweet spot.  Squats I like going about 225-305 with reps . I literally don't have a ton of room in my garage to doing lunges like I enjoy so kinda sucks

@MGM I also work out in my garage and no what you mean.
Depending where you live try taking the bar and weights outside for your lunges ( driveway, lawn. ) Used to watch Ronnie Coleman do his walking lunges in the gravel parking lot of his gym.
Just a suggestion as like I said it's hard enough finding inspiration to bust my balls working out by myself but after digging down deep it gets done.

I did my second Quad Destruction Workout today and I am feeling it. Tomorrow might be a bit worse. 

My goal on my current cycle is to train every body part to feel the stress but not be too sore to train that body part on the next scheduled day.

Fortunately anabolics help so much in the recovery process I find it difficult for DOMS to even set in.

Use heavy kettles or dumbbells and use the step back method. If you have 3 feet of space you can do lunges.

At the half way point of this 6 week leg workout and I am trying to kill it every session. Finding my groove and legs are just sore enough that they are not effecting other workouts. 

In the next two weeks I will be phasing out the NPP and phasing in TrenA. May 1 I will introduce a slight calorie deficit by reducing my fat intake and bumping up energy expenditure.

Cycle-

Weeks 1-8- Test, NPP, Primo, GH

Weeks 9-14- Test, TrenA, Primo, GH

Weeks 15-16- TrenA, Primo, Halo

This is my biggest hurdle. I never feel how destroyed they r. 1-2 days later they may not even feel sore. Makes it hard to gauge how much more you could do or need to do. 

 

Love that you are so focused on legs. It’s always a love hate relationship for me. My lower back takes the biggest hit from it. My back will ache for the week then it’s time to hit them again.

Rumble roller, If you haven’t used any of there rollers ck em out. They are brilliant. I have the deep tissue roller xfirm. The regular firm roller is nice as well but I like the extra pressure. It really relieves the pain and stiffness.
